Our board, Opium 5.11 (181,9 x 46,2 cm), for lighter riders or stronger winds, this purposeful and high performance surf board is also extremely fun and easy to ride in any situation. With five fin boxes, you can choose a traditional thruster set up, or ride quad fin for more powered up faster strapped riding. Either way this board gives good upwind performance, snappy turns off the lip and speed control on the wave. FCS fin boxes stand up to the increase sideways force and abuse that kitesurfing gives a board.

A deep concave starting under bottom of the front foot to finish in a double concave under the back foot for having a good take off in despite of the important rocker line. Easy access, works well both strapped and strapless. It has a low kite-specific rocker line, round pin tail with straight Outline. These factors combine to give good upwind capability, early planing, good control when the wind gets stronger. It's a smooth ride with a minimum of bounce in more choppy water you would expect at higher wind speeds. The Opium 5'8 offers easy turning, upwind capability, and early planing for light riders with very good control. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Opium 5'11 Easy access, works well both strapped and strapless. Handling

  • We know we have a direct influence on work ethics in the world, that’s why we work with international partners and subcontractors who maintain decent working standards as a matter of course.

I use the Prima Donna and mainly Opium. The board is great for my lighter weight, in UK onshore conditions, and with quad fin set up, I can make fast dynamic turns in gusty wind and messy water conditions. The Prima Donna’s gust handling ability makes life easier in UK winter conditions, and when II occasionally do freestyle I love the PD because I can always feel where the kite is.
